What you’ll do:
- Evaluate, test and repair product returned from the field, answer service request phone calls for assistance
- Test and evaluate products to ensure proper operation to established criteria
- Troubleshoot electronic products to the component level, when applicable, to determine root cause and appropriate corrective action
- Properly setup and operate general electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors, test fixtures, field strength meters, RF power measuring equipment and software simulators for product testing and evaluation
- Proficient operation of hand tools, small power tools, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers and understands their use and function
- Performs required repairs and required modifications to restore unit to proper operation
- Inspects all work and participates in the visual inspection crosscheck process
- Maintain the integrity of the documentation process and complete necessary reports
- Keep supervisor apprised of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect Service, Operations, or customers
- Provide support to the Operations organization and handle miscellaneous assignments as instructed
- Proficient operation of PC based computer equipment in an office software environment

Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with a training emphasis in communication/computer electronics, or five or more years of technical on-the-job experience/military technical training, and a general RF background
- Possess strong problem solving skills applied to digital and analog electronics with the ability to troubleshoot in a logical manner
- Professional, clear, verbal and written communications
- Experience with electronic test equipment and test fixtures
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation such as electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings, bills-of-material, setup instructions, written work instructions
- Unrestricted ability to travel domestically and internationally ( Passport)

About the role:
You will design, implement, and validate embedded software for rugged, industrial wireless control systems used in heavy equipment and safety‑critical environments. The work spans platform bring‑up through application features, with close collaboration across hardware, RF, compliance, and manufacturing teams. Our products emphasize reliability, functional safety, and secure‑by‑design practices throughout the lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
- Develop firmware (C/C++, RTOS/Linux) including bootloader, BSP, device drivers, and application logic.
- Develop in C/C++ on RTOS and/or embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot) targets; contribute to device trees, kernel modules, and HALs where needed.
- Implement and document wired/wireless interfaces (CAN / J1939, UART, SPI, I²C; Bluetooth where applicable); integrate with RF and baseband teams.
- Apply coding standards and peer reviews; participate in design and module testing aligned with our R&D programming standards.
- Create verification plans; automate unit/integration tests; support environmental/EMC/functional tests in our labs; triage field issues with production & service.
- Contribute to secure-by-design and functional safety lifecycle activities (requirements, architecture, verification, validation, documentation). Understanding of functional safety concepts (IEC/ISO frameworks). Ability to contribute to safety requirements, verification evidence, traceability, and safety analyses.
- Collaborate with hardware, RF, mechanical, and compliance teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years developing embedded software in C/C++; demonstrated experience with low‑level drivers and real‑time constraints.
- Hands‑on debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD, and profilers; strong problem‑solving and ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:

About the role:
You will design, validate, and industrialize electronics for robust wireless control products—covering schematic design, component selection, board bring‑up, DFM/DFS, and compliance readiness. You’ll partner closely with embedded, RF, mechanical, compliance, and manufacturing teams to move concepts to dependable products used in demanding environments.
What you’ll do:
- Create mixed‑signal schematics (MCUs, power, sensors, comms, HMI); guide PCB layout for signal integrity, thermal, and EMC.
